ANT Magazine Launch

Today I visited the launch of ANT magazine in the By AMFI Statement Store at Spui 23. 

ANT is a one time independent fashion magazine that focuses on the celebration of absurd creative passion and features the pleasantly obsessed. The magazine also has a matching product line, like accessories, perfume and clothing. Both the magazine and the products are designed and developed by students of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute.

It is inspiring to see the creative way of presenting the products, launching the magazine and to see the unique personalities that visited the party. 

I graduated from AMFI in 2009, the Fashion& Branding program, so it was great to see my teachers, co graduates and other obsessed creatives. 

It was double amazing to see the WestCord Fashion Hotel advertorial in the magazine. This is what we want to do with the Fashion Hotel, create a platform where young professionals can show their talent to the fashion world and support the new generation designers.

A Fashion Show by Denise Aartsen, Lana Wijnands, Daphne van den Heuvel, Kunji Bearwald and Sanne Haselager. Presented in the Fashion Hotel.

This show is the answer to today's fashion world, given by the new generation professionals. Multiple young designers are presenting their vision. It is innovative, creative, different and inspiring.

We have the location, we have the plan, we have the people. And now what?


The challenge is to get everything in place at the right time! And I can tell you it is a challenge! 
What to expect of an expo called Poisoned Legs? Well, you can expect a lot!


And guess what... To make it a little more exciting the exhibition is not the only event in the Fashion Hotel. The 12th of July we will have a fashion show. Innovative, inspiring, different and creative.

This exhibition by Hilde Eijgenraam at WestCord Fashion Hotel is part of Fashion Week Downtown program.
Between the July 8 and July 17th the Downtown program will organize exhibitions, shows, launches, parties and much, much more! All the Fashion Week DOWNTOWN events are all organized in collaboration with local museums, galleries, designers, clubs and shops. 

Now tree full of scones is in the air, it gives me the chance to communicate what I'm working on right now! And also to invite you to come and see for yourself.

I'm working in the WestCord Fashion Hotel, as Fashion Supervisor. 

I'm now working on organizing an innovative and very exciting exhibition, together with designer Hilde Eijgenraam. Marlon vd Kust from Moenkust and Lennart the VJ, joined our team to prepare this exhibition.
